A new companion! Clara Oswald finally joins the Doctor after being teased at in Asylum of the Daleks at the start of Series 7. We start with the Doctor living a life of solitude after losing Amy and Rory in The Angels Take Manhattan. After recieving an initially chilly reception (pun fully intended), Clara manages to pull the Doctor out of his doldrums and into a battle to save humanity from The Great Intelligence, which is using evil snowmen to invade the earth.
Clara is a dream of a companion, cute, smart and very, very flirty! She brings out something in the Doctor we haven't seen in a while ... his softer, romantic(ish) side. The new TARDIS console room is awesome!
It looks like Strax and Madame Vastra and Jenny will be recurring characters this half of the season ... but what about River Song? And how would River deal with the cheeky, flirty Clara Oswin Oswald?
All this and more tells me that this spring's half of series 7 will be one not to miss!

Lost in the Vortex
So my life had been a little crazy for a while, almost an entire year as a matter of fact. I ended up watching most of the episodes off my DVR instead of live during the first half of series 7, and I still have not watched the Christmas episode, The Snowmen. Plus it looks like if I don't watch it tonight or tomorrow night, it will be next week before I get to it.So, that being said, I am looking to add some new contributors to the site.
